Wind, Fire & the Holy Spirit
[You may wish to light a candle at home]
Opening Prayer: [VU 197]
God, Holy Spirit, come to us, come among us;
come as the wind, and cleanse;
come as the fire, and burn;
come as the dew, and refresh:
convict, convert, and consecrate
many hearts and lives
to our good and your greater glory. Amen.

God, as the Spirit moves within and around us,
we are moved in response.
Part of that response is to offer gifts
of time, talent, and treasure.
May the gifts and the givers be ways
your love and hope is spread. Amen.

The Spirit of God inspires…
Let us listen!
The Spirit of God transforms…
Let us grow!
The Spirit of God empowers…
Let us go…and be…and do!
And may you… those you encounter…
and those who are touched beyond that encounter…
discover and know the grace, love, and peace of God
each and every day. Amen.
